• FAITH KING-BASEY MISSING CALIFORNIA

        Written by Chandler Vaughn

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – California teen, Faith King-Basey, missing since April 27, 2017.

FAITH KING-BASEY – Faith’s Mother, Jessica King, was concerned for her daughter’s safety in the weeks/months leading up to her disappearance.

Faith, a Grant High School student, had been receiving luxurious gifts, expensive dresses and Louis Vuitton hand bags from an older admirer, possibly online.

Like a typical 15-year-old who wanted space, Faith wasn’t forthcoming about the origin of the lavish gifts. She reassured her Mom that he was just a friend, helping with the cost of tutoring.  Jessica warned Faith to be careful and continued to be watchful of her daughter.

MISSING PERSON – The night before her disappearance, Faith slept at a friend’s house. The next day, she called her Mom saying she had a headache and planned to come home, but never arrived.

DISCOVERY PARK – It was a Thursday evening, the sun set at 7:32 p.m.

Faith was last seen taking photos at a boat launch near Discovery Park, somewhere between Richards Blvd. and Old Town Sac.  After that point, Faith vanished.

It’s been 3 long months. Spring is now summer…Have you seen Faith?

BACKPAGE/CRAIGSLIST – These sites have become a hub for predators, rapists, murderers and generally pathetic, perverted men, of all ages and socio-economic class.  These men have plenty of money to pay, but are too pathetic for real encountersPATHETIC JOHNS.

DEMAND NOT SUPPLY – To anyone who says contrary… ALL markets are driven by demand, not supply.  So don’t you dare blame it on the girls.

TEEN GIRLS – Young, beautiful girls are lured into life-threatening situations with promises of fine clothes, jewelry, and fame, before they’re able to grasp the danger of this online death-trap.

Note: I am disgusted by the creator(s) of BackPage, profiting from sex-trafficking, kidnapping, rape and death.

BACKPAGE.COM – BTW, who is the creator of BackPage?…Who is this hurtful dreg?…Could it be a man?…Could it be a woman?…Maybe some articles are due?

CALIFORNIA: HOW TO REPORT A MISSING PERSON – You may initiate a Missing Persons Report of any adult or juvenile by contacting your local law enforcement agency. Contrary to popular belief, law enforcement agencies in California do not require a person to wait a specific period of time before reporting a missing person.

If you have to report a missing person, be thorough. When a person is reported missing in California, it is best for the family to make contact at all four levels of law enforcement. This is imperative to ensure the name of the missing person be logged into city, county, state and nationwide search systems, if possible.

    List of Missing Persons Resources:

    • Nat’l Missing and Unidentified Persons System: WWW.NAMUS.GOV
    • California Attorney General’s Office: WWW.OAG.CA.GOV
    • Nat’l Center for Missing and Exploited Children: 1-800-THE-LOST
    • Missing Children’s Clearinghouse: 1-800-222-FIND
    • FACEBOOK: Another way to highlight your missing loved one’s case is to visit “Missing Persons of America” and “Locate the Missing” on Facebook. Here you can post free ads for missing persons…and re-post frequently, to keep your search alive.

CALIFORNIA LAW ENFORCEMENT– Our law enforcement agencies do an excellent job of finding and solving missing persons and murder cases. However, many new cases arise each day. Diligent action from families and communities help NamUs and smaller agencies in California stay up-to-date.

UNMATCHED DNA– Even in this day and age, human remains go unidentified for years.

ISAIAH MARSH– For example, take the well publicized case of Isaiah Marsh…May he rest in Peace.

    • First, Isaiah was reported missing in Nevada County, California.
    • Next, Isaiah’s truck was found in Riverside County, nine hours away…abandoned.
    • Finally, Isaiah’s remains were located, but continued to be unidentified in Riverside County for four years.
    • Four years later– Isaiah’s unidentified remains were matched to his Missing Person Report/DNA originally filed in Nevada County.

    Tips from True Crime California:

    • California Counties– It is wise to start with the county where the missing person was last seen / known to be. There are hundreds of micro-towns in California, so tiny they cannot be recognized on a map. If you are just starting your search, begin with county first.
    • State of California– Immediately following a missing persons report, a sample of the missing person’s DNA should be made available to the The State of California. Unidentified remains (from anywhere in the State or USA) can then be matched when located, rather than years later.

MISSING ADULTS- If your child is a missing adult and you feel concerned, do not hesitate to file a report with the city or county in which your child was last seen. If your child is in distress, it’s the one way to help find them.

    Keep Searching…True Love Never Dies.

  • Missing Girls of Shasta County

Comments Off on Missing Girls of Shasta County
    April 12, 2014 /  California Missing Persons

    Shasta CaShasta County, California.

Since 2011, a disturbing number of young females have vanished from Shasta County and it’s surrounding areas.

2011: Genevieve Methany (20), Alexandria Miller Williams (21).

    2012: Heather Cameron (28), Amanda Arney (15).

2013: Elise Marie Swigart (17), Michelle Elizabeth Gadson (18), Teshena Rae Erwin (16), Halle Autumn Baker, (16), Kayla Dawn Rae Gutierres (15), Kalyn Renee Schmitz (17).

Many of these missing females have been classified as “runaways”.  Sadly, as soon as the word “runaway” or “homeless”  is mentioned, the alarm bells stop. In reality, runaway or homeless females are at greater risk and should be pursued as missing persons in the same manner as abducted children, with fervency.  Note: To a sexual predator or sex trafficker, a runaway or homeless female is a target. Please keep a look out for these young women and help bring them home safely.

    True Love Never Dies.

If you have information on the whereabouts of anyone listed above please contact: Shasta County Sheriff’s Office: 530-245-6000.  Redding Police: Investigations Unit: 530-225-4214
