APPLE VALLEY, Calif. – It was Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015. Krystie Stuart, 29 year-old Lucerne Valley resident, vanished and was never seen again.

Earlier that day, Krystie had driven to Jess Ranch Dental for a walk in appointment, but the dentist couldn’t see her.  At that time, according to the office staff, Krystie misplaced her car keys, but eventually found a spare and walked out the door.

Evidently, Krystie had plans to stay at a friends house that evening, but never arrived. According to a post on the family’s Facebook Page, “Help Find Krystie Stuart”, a bloodhound traced her scent across the street to the parking lot behind Bed Bath and Beyond. There, her scent was lost.

On March 8th, Krystie’s Dodge Dakota was located in the open desert 20 minutes north-east of Jess Ranch Dental near Fairview Valley, as the crow flies, almost directly in between State Route 18, “Happy Trails Highway”, and State Route 247.

The contents of Krystie’s car, (although not necessarily enough to indicate foul play to investigators), were disturbing and left many unanswered questions. Her eye glasses were there.  Her cell phone.  Her shoes, socks and bra.  The medication she had just picked up.  Everything was there, but not Krystie. The bloodhounds went to work again, but her scent could not be found.

NOTE***If Krystie’s scent could not be found, and she  didn’t leave her truck in the desert, then who did? And wouldn’t that (possibly) indicate foul play?

MISSING GIRLS OF THE DESERT – I’m actually starting to get angry about this “no evidence to indicate foul play” conclusion, after so many women’s vehicles have been recovered. In San Bernardino County, this conclusion is reached by default, quickly and frequently.

I appreciate and respect law enforcement officers. These are hard cases. No evidence to be found, I get it.

As I write about CASE AFTER CASE of missing women who vanish into the open desert of California, but “no foul play is suspected”, many questions arise:

    • Why would they leave their cell phones?
    • Why in the world would they ditch their cars?
    • Why leave their wallets?
    • In some cases, their beloved pets?

    In my humble opinion….THEY WOULDNT!

I assume these are the heart-sick questions their Mother’s ask every night. I often cry while writing these articles, when I think of their Moms.

It has been over 2 years since Krystie Stuart disappeared. Krystie is loved and missed desperately. Her family’s Facebook page, “Help Find Krystie Stuart” is always updated. Please like and share.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – It was a Friday in the city of San Bernardino, December 9, 2016.  The autumn-winter sun set early that evening, just before 5 P.M.

JANUARY BLAITHWAITE- January Lynn Blaithwaite, 35, grabbed her cell phone, stepped out the front door of her Mom’s house to smoke a cigarette and vanished.

The first sign of trouble was January’s cell phone, located outside on the walkway, smashed into bits.  January was nowhere to be found.

BODY FOUND ON 210 FREEWAY– Sadly, later that night, January was found on California’s State Route 210, also known as the “Foothill Freeway”. A passer-by saw her in the west-bound lane and called 911, but it was too late.

SUSPICIOUS DEATH – December 9, 2016, January Blaithwaite, beloved Daughter, Sister and Mother of three was pronounced dead at the scene.

It has been assumed that January was likely hit by a car.  That may have been what  ended her life, but doesn’t explain how or why  January was on the freeway, 5 miles from home in the first place; and why her phone was found smashed.

It is unknown what happened the night January Braithwaite was killed, but it seems that foul play could be involved.

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY SHERIFF – If you have any information regarding the suspicious death of January Blaithwaite, please call:

    • San Bernardino County Sheriff at 909-388-4826.

Chairo 2 Written by Chandler Vaughn

OLIVEHURST, Calif.- Residents of Olivehurst, a tiny enclave of Yuba County, are still grieving the loss of a beautiful young woman named Chairo Garibay, who was viciously murdered ten years ago today, December 11, 2005.

This was no ordinary morning for Chairo. It was the Mass of Our Lady, The Virgin of Guadalupe. It was a sacred. A celebration she attended every year with her family, as a matter of devotion. This day, Chairo was doing what most young ladies her age don’t do anymore, she was preparing for church, at 5 a.m.

What a remarkable young citizen she was.

After that morning, Chairo Garibay was never seen alive again. She had been attacked and murdered. It sickens the soul to repeat the shameful way her life was taken…so I won’t. (Please see TCC’s previous post for details).

CHAIRO GARIBAY’S MURDER IS STILL UNSOLVED. Her killer continues to have freedom in this world. Somebody knows something.

Please help solve this crime. If you have any details relating to this case, no matter how insignificant, please contact Yuba County Sheriff at 530-749-7777.

My prayers for strength and continued comfort go out to Chairo’s mother, Magdalena, and her beautiful young siblings. There are no words strong enough to convey my concern. True Crime California will continue posting updates until Chairo’s murder is solved and her killer is brought to face justice…in this life…and for eternity. True Love Never Dies.

    November 2, 2013 /  Body Found California

    isaiah marshWritten by Chandler Vaughn

NEVADA CITY, Calif– Isaiah Eli Marsh, 30 year old Nevada City resident was reported missing on April 14, 2009. According to family members, it was not like Isaiah to let his cell phone run out of charge, not keep his charger with him, and not keep in close touch. Isaiah’s last known location was pinpointed by a final “ping” on a cell phone tower at Bullard’s Bar. Isaiah was never heard from again.

One month later Isaiah’s black Ford F-350 truck was found abandoned in Riverside County, Ca. but with no sign of Isaiah in or near his vehicle.

Vigils were held, birthdays passed. Today Isaiah would be 34 years old.

Finally, in 2013, the heartbreaking news came. Isaiah had been found.

It had been four long years when the Department of Justice matched Isaiah’s DNA to a sample that had been preserved in California since 2009.

ISAIAH MARSH BODY FOUND– As it turns out, Isaiah’s body was found outside Desert Hot Springs in Riverside County on June 12, 2009. His remains were located near Long Canyon Road and Hacienda Avenue, but he was not identified until August 16, 2013. It was estimated by the Riverside County Coroner that Isaiah’s body had been in the canyon for 5-10 days when he was found deceased. Isaiah’s cause of death was undetermined. Sadly, his remains had been set on fire.

Note: It has been alleged that Isaiah’s murder may have been 420 related. No matter what dark motive this killer had, Isaiah Marsh was a citizen of California, loved by many, who deserves justice.

NEVADA COUNTY SHERIFF-If you have any information relating to the unsolved murder of Isaiah Eli Marsh, please contact the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dept at 951-955-2777 or the Nevada County Sheriff’s Major Crime Unit at 530-265-1263.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Isaiah Marsh. True Crime California will continue to post updates on Isaiah’s case until his killer is brought to face Justice. True Love Never Dies.

VERONICA MARTINNEZ– In January 1992, a young California citizen named Veronica Martinez left her home to go grocery shopping and was never seen alive again. Very few facts are known about what actually happened to Veronica that day in 1992 over twenty years ago, but what has been released to the public is horrific.

BODY FOUND– The following is written with great sadness. Veronica’s remains were found two months later in early March, a few miles north of Cool, California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Veronica had been murdered and dumped onto an embankment off of State Hwy 49 that runs along the American River. The fact that a 19 year old, pregnant mother of two had been murdered was terrible enough, but Veronica had been decapitatedIt was unspeakable.

UNSOLVED MURDER– This unsolved murder has been under publicized. While details of a case must be kept classified to insure the integrity of an investigation, it simultaneously allows the local citizens to remain uninformed and unaware of ongoing danger that may be present in their community.  In addition, this crime took place such a long time ago that many residents feel a false sense of security or have never even heard of it.

TRUE CRIME CALIFORNIA– The questions regarding this case abound. Was it someone Veronica knew who tried to conceal her identity? Is it possible her killer is still at large in California? It is. Always take caution. Be Safe California.

EL DORADO COUNTY SHERIFF– If you have information relating to the Veronica Martinez case please contact the El Dorado Co. Sheriffs Office at 530-621-5655.

Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of beloved California citizen, Veronica Martinez. True Crime California will continue to post updates until her killer is brought to face the full force of justice. True Love Never Dies.

Carol Rosalli Guillen (age 20) was last seen at Quick Stop Market on Lincoln Road in Yuba City,  California, May 8, 2002.
